Dr. Vinjamuri received a grant from NSF. This is a supplement to his NSF CAREER Award to work with I-Hubs, collaboration with India to model Cerebellum and Basal Ganglia and integrate these models into the control algorithms of exoskeletons and prosthetics.

Martin Burns won the graduate student poster competition at the 2018 International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering Annual Meeting. His work on wearable hand exoskeletons represented the SMC Lab, the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Stevens Institute of Technology at this prestigious gathering of pharmaceutical professionals and automation experts.
